Benzie Conservation District will host a Platte River Clean Sweep on Saturday, July 16th at 9am at the Veteran's Memorial Park off US-31. Volunteers will paddle the river in small teams and collect trash in the water and along the bank. Please bring your own canoe or kayak and life preserver. If you need one, let Benzie CD know and they can arrange for one to be borrowed. They will provide trash grabbers, gloves and bags. Bring your own water but there will be snack and swag!
