Muskegon Conservation District will host a Native Bee Workshop on Saturday, March 19th from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Muskegon Conservation District Office (4735 Holton Road, Twin Lake, MI 48457). During this family-friendly event, Kim Wood, a retired educator and bee advocate, will present on native bee species, their importance for ecosystems and how to provide bee friendly habitats. There will be an opportunity to make bee hotels that participants will take home. The cost is $15 per adult and $5 per child.
