October is a season of settling in. The rush of harvest is still with us, yet the crisp mornings remind us that the year is turning toward rest and renewal.

This October also marks a new chapter for MIFarmLink. We are now officially part of the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts (MACD)! With this move, we’re excited to broaden our reach, connect more farmers and landowners, and strengthen farmland connections across the state.

This month we’ll also be welcoming new Advisory Committee members, Regional Representatives, and volunteers. Each of these roles is vital in carrying forward our mission to keep farmland in farming and ensure the next generation has a place to grow.

We’re grateful for the roots we’ve built together and eager for the new growth ahead. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
