College to Career: Conference Volunteer Program

The Michigan Association of Conservation Districts (MACD) is seeking 20–25 student volunteers to assist with the 2026 MACD Annual Conference in Lansing, Michigan.

The College to Career: Conference Volunteer Program provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event coordination, communications, conservation outreach, nonprofit operations, and professional networking while supporting the annual conference.

Selected volunteers will have the opportunity to:

Assist with conference operations.
Network with conservation professionals and partner organizations from across Michigan.
Attend conference educational sessions and workshops.
Build professional connections and explore careers in conservation and natural resources.

The program is intentionally structured to balance volunteer service with meaningful learning and network opportunities.

Dates: October 19-22, 2026
Location: Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan
Time Commitment: Volunteers will typically serve 8 hours over the course of the conference.
