The Michigan Association of Conservation Districts (MACD) is seeking 20â25 student volunteers to assist with the 2026 MACD Annual Conference in Lansing, Michigan.

The College to Career: Conference Volunteer Program provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event coordination, communications, conservation outreach, nonprofit operations, and professional networking while supporting the annual conference.

Selected volunteers will have the opportunity to:
- Assist with conference operations.
- Network with conservation professionals and partner organizations from across Michigan.
- Attend conference educational sessions and workshops.
- Build professional connections and explore careers in conservation and natural resources.
The program is intentionally structured to balance volunteer service with meaningful learning and network opportunities.
Dates: October 19-22, 2026
Location: Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan
Time Commitment: Volunteers will typically serve 8 hours over the course of the conference.
